I would love to have one of those 32" LCDs for my daughter's room. I just can't make myself get out at 5am and fight for one. The $78 Blu-Ray is not a bad deal for a second room either.

My 7 year old is campaigning for a larger one for the basement, his friend's mom (my secret ally) has suggested a 50" to my wife. (My son really wants MY TV, he ain't gettin' it.)

5 am is too early, I'll wait as well.

HDTV's have really dropped in price.

I will try to find a link to a recent Computer Power User (CPU) article debunking many of the new features on LCD TV's since they are theoretically useful, but not actually as currently used.

If you go for a non super thin or local dimming LED LCD (or even DLP) you can get a great deal.
