TIVO & Brighthouse

Tivo discussions can be posted under the Digital Recorders forum which is 3 forums down.

Anyway, is your Tivo for DirecTv? If it is then it will not work with cable. If you are planning on buying a new Tivo then the standard Tivo model will work with cable and has a slot for your cable card.

Is there something different about Brighhouse Cable that makes you think it would not work?

Just thought that a cable company would not accept the Tivo, that's all and seen one refurb for $100 on the net.

Thanks for your reply.

I would check with your cable company and see if they require a cable card and if they are willing to give you one. If so, make sure the Tivo model you buy is compatible.

My parents bought a new HD Tivo and it works well with their cable system. Good luck.
